"Macauley Smyth came out to our business (a local Costcutter store) to help fix our SAGE system and bring the data up to date to run as a complete finance function.
This involved not only preparing figures for the first year end, but also to understand our business, to set up systems to use on a daily basis to keep the finance function up to date and accurate.
We are delighted with the quality of service provided, and engaged Macauley Smyth as our accountants.
They are also helping us bring our business forward to the next level by looking at management reports and developing budgets for the forthcoming periods."
Macauley Smyth is a chartered accountancy practice established by Caroline Macauley and Bernie Smyth in 2009. We set up our own practice to offer a more competitive fee structure and offer a wide range of professional and efficient services tailored to individual client needs.
In addition, we are keen to answer the questions that clients are usually reluctant to ask.
We specialise in both UK and Irish taxes and provide clients with practical solutions in a clear manner. In most cases, we operate on a fixed fee basis so you know what to expect.
With combined experience of over 26 years, we believe in getting to know you and your business better. Moreover, we want you to get to know us too, so that you can be more confident that you are making the right choice when you use our services.
